'Salisbury from Clarendon in Winter' Wood Engraving February Birthstone The intricacy of the designAn exquisite wood engraving by artist Howard Phipps. The beautifully intricate engraving itself measures just 10cm x 6. 3cm and is mounted in an off white mount making its outside dimensions 29cm x 26. 5cm. Howard's wood engravings have been cut on the end grain of a block of very hard Boxwood using very fine tools. The final image is printed by hand using an Albion Press which was made in 1862.
