Rare Daguerreotype Painting of British Revolutionary War Soldier Tinted Red Coat gurney Identified on the back inCirca 1850 daguerreotype showing a painted portrait (on an easel?) of an unidentified British Revolutionary War officer with I think partially rolled up map on the table next to him. It might be possible to ID him, but I haven't tried. His coat and buttons have been tinted red and gold. In a very nice, full, complete case, measuring 4. 75" x 3. 75" when closed. Dag has a tarnish ring, a few small abrasions and light scratch in the upper left corner,
