Domaine Chevillon, Pinot Noir, Bourgogne Rouge, Burgundy, France 2019 noinventory altitude: 250/270 metresThe 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, which comes from vines within Nuits Saint Georges, has a glorious bouquet featuring brambly red fruit; maraschino cherries develop with time. The palate is medium bodied, the 10% new oak lending a little weight on the mid palate, and there is fine definition and length on the finish. The stunning collection of premier cru and old vine vineyards held by the two Chevillon brothers would make any Pinot Noir grower jealous.
