These were kettle-dyed with washes of teal

There is a lot of scarlet and a lot of bleed-through in this batch

DK: Approximately 100g 231 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 4 ply DK weight yarn. These were kettle dyed with hanks stacked between washes of concentrated lime, teal green and dark purple. At the end a few grains of black were dropped in the water on each hank. Note that these are highly variegated and hanks from the same batch may be quite different in both intensity and tone even though they all share the same colours. Photos are from
