The rag rug has its roots in the Swedish countryside, emerging at a time when there was a need to transform worn out textiles into something new and useful. It is a craft that has long been part of my family's history. Aunt Ida, who lived on the farm during my grandfather's childhood, wove rag rugs for the home. These works tell the story of how a traditional craft can
