This wine was part of the wine collection of the family that owns this winery. It was made from a noble grape variety in 1992 in which the quality of the grapes was high and the harvest excellent, with grapes from only the best vines on the island of Madeira. Prior to bottling, it benefited from a long aging period in old oak barrels. This allowed it to develop into a distinctive Madeira
