Once those vertical seams release the skirt below has extra fullness

I have not added any crinolines to the skirt though you could to make it even more exaggerated a shape

It definitely has a Balenciaga, Dior ish feel to it with its fine attention to details and quality and craftsmanship in the way it is constructed. The dress is gorgeous a refined shift with a nipped in waist. I love the wide flat pleat detail that crosses over itself on the bodice and carries through the skirt. Even the small V that is
